The Story Behind the Blend:

Starry Night is inspired by the expansive skies of the Midwest. Sitting underneath the canopy of stars is one of my favorite past times, and spending time star gazing, has led to witnessing some of the most incredible cosmic displays I've ever seen - some that cannot be explained.

I crafted this blend for drifting, for unwinding, for pondering the wonders of the universe.

When you sip it, I hope you remember that from the moment you were born, you became a part of something meaningful and bigger than any of us can imagine.

“You were written in the stars that we are swimming in”

Key Botanicals and Their Traditional Uses

Chamomile

One of the longest and most well-documented historical botanicals. Across many cultures, chamomile has been enjoyed in evening teas and calming preparations due to its mildly relaxing effects. Rich in natural flavonoids and aromatic oils that contribute to its long-standing place in traditional herbalism. Chamomile has also been used for soothing the stomach. Chamomile contains apigenin, quercetin, and luteolin.**

Star Anise

Star anise has long been used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it is valued for supporting relaxation, digestion and overall balance. Historically, it has been incorporated into formulas intended to ease digestive discomfort and nausea. Modern research has identified antimicrobial and antioxidant compounds in star anise, contributing to ongoing scientific interest in its traditional applications within holistic wellness systems. Contains compounds that may help with deeper sleep, especially when combined with chamomile.

 Marshmallow Root

Traditionally used for centuries in herbal preparations to ease dryness and add soothing qualities to teas. An especially supportive botanical for the colder, drier winter months.**

 Butterfly Pea Flower

In Southeast Asian traditions, butterfly pea flower tea has been enjoyed in the evenings or in ceremony for its soothing, grounding presence. Rich in antioxidants known as anthocyanins. Historically and culturally used for soothing tired eyes, memory support, and cognitive benefits. Certain extracts from butterfly pea flower have shown anti-inflammatory and anti-glycation effects in in-vitro studies.**

Fennel Seed

Traditionally used for digestive ease, cognitive support, and their breath freshening effects, fennel seeds add sweetness and are packed with potent antioxidants and polyphenols. They contain quercitin and apigenin, two compounds that have been extensively studied in functional nutrition. Fennel tea has also been used to reduce appetite when taken before meals.**
