 The Story Behind the Blend

Festival captures the fleeting feeling of Autumn in the Midwest landscape. Each year as the leaves begin to turn, we head outdoors to the apple orchards, the pumpkin patches, the festivals and the fairs.
Friends, Family & Neighbors gather in celebration and community.

We bask in golden afternoon sunlight, surrounded by the sights and smells of the shifting season. We gather and watch games, sit around bonfires and enjoy each other's company.

Festival was crafted to fit beautifully into these moments and remind you of them long after the season has passed. Reminiscent of a fall festival, It's that nostalgic hit of apple, layered with creamy oatstraw and gentle spice.

This blend pairs perfectly with turnovers, kettle corn or those insane apple cider donuts. You know the ones... all warm and fluffy, that leave a dusting of cinnamon sugar everywhere.
A thermos full is a great way to enjoy a chilly hayrack ride or a night out under the stars.

Key Botanicals and Their Traditional Uses:

Oatstraw (Avena Sativa)

Naturally rich in minerals and plant compounds, herbalists have long used oatstraw infusions as nourishing tonics due to naturally occurring silica, magnesium, calcium and B-vitamins. Historically considered a nervine, used to support emotional steadiness, stress resilience and overall calm. Due to its silica content, oatstraw appears in traditional herbal literature as a supportive botanical for skin health, hair, and connective tissues.**

Rose Hips (Rosa spp.)

The fruit of the rose plant, rose hips are naturally rich in vitamin C known to support collagen as well as polyphenols. Traditionally included in nourishing herbal preparations, they add a juicy, tangy depth to the cup.**

Hibiscus (Hibiscus Sabdariffa)

Known for its deep crimson hue and lively tartness, hibiscus has been widely used in refreshing infusions across Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Naturally abundant in anthocyanins and plant acids, it has traditionally been enjoyed to promote circulation and vibrant skin tone. It brings brightness, color, and a crisp, juicy quality to the blend.**

Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius)

Traditionally used in Chinese herbal medicine to promote circulation. Historically associated with menstrual regulation and menstrual discomfort. Contains flavonoids and other plant compounds being investigated for antioxidant and cardiovascular effects. Used in herbal teas for its beautiful golden-orange color and delicate floral character.**
